Fun in October

October was yet again another busy month with lots of things happening...I have a few more posts with some more exciting things in them (Homecoming Events & Halloween Fun) but for now here are some snapshots of other things we did...

Travis and Cooper hanging out at Greenley Research Farm. I needed some harvest shot of the research plots they are doing up there so one evening the whole family got to load up and go.

Andi and TJ showing off their soybeans that they found. They were super excited to find them on the ground and even still in pods...they collected them and then wanted to know if Dave could combine them. :)

TJ still clenching his soybeans and Andi was excited to find some plants that were missed on the end. She thought that we could take them all home for "Fall Decorations." I guess if you have corn, pumpkins and gourds you might as well add some beans!

TJ being silly.

Another big event...Cooper made the move to a new bed and a new room! Both boys are TJ's old room while we try to prepare Coop's old room for Baby #4.

An ever ongoing process...the swing set! We finally got the last of our concrete poured and dirt work finished so now its time to get the 2nd part of our swing set done. Its pretty hard to find time to work on it considering it seems like Travis is never home but somehow this past week he has gotten some hours logged.

Andi helping with the many screws that were needed.

Everyone needed to help make sure it was level...

TJ was all about helping. I guess this counts for the "measure twice, cut once rule?"

Cooper decided he would help in other ways, including finding (or stealing) the tape measurer...

hanging out on the swing set,

and staying out of the way!

Silly September Fun

September was one long month! It doesn't seem that way now but I had a lot of pictures to put up and a lot of things happening that I didn't even get pictures of! Here are some random play pictures from that month...it makes me smile to remember all the "creativity" that my children have. :)

Andi and TJ ready for their wedding. They came and asked me to take a picture of them...

and of course tag-a-long Coop had to be there within seconds!

so excited for a kazoo and picture all of his own...

Guitar man! I couldn't really capture TJ rockin' out to the "Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun" song on the guitar but I tried!

haha look at me mom! Cooper found something new to climb on and laugh about...

New Mycogen Hats...they were so excited that their dad brought home some extra hats after working the Farm Progress show for a week. You probably recognize it as TJ loves to wear his out and about!

Crazy Cooper :)

I came downstairs one day to find this, a picture of TJ feeding his sheep.

and here are Andi's sheep enjoying their "lunch" in the "barn."

Cooper found out where Andi kept all of her headbands and this seems to be his new fetish. He is pretty good about picking out ones that match his outfits too- I knew he should have been a girl! LOL

what a nerd!

Travis turns 32!!

The end of September seemed to be the start of a rough patch for us but luckily we made it through it and hopefully are (someday? going to catch up from it. Because of this, Travis' birthday was a little low key this year...Im sure we will make it up to him next year though!
Travis and the kiddos with his birthday card.

TJ and Andi are always ready to help blow out candles...

Cooper thought the cheesecake was delicious too!

More Mizzou Games

We started off the season with 3 home games in a row. Very exciting and yet very busy! Here are some pictures of us before and during the games. As you can tell we continued to get less and less photos and eventually ditched the camera during the game all together (hmmm, I wonder why?!) :)

Here are some game photos from San Diego State...

and some from before the 3rd game against Miami Ohio...

Mizzou Home Opener- McNeese St

We were super excited for Mizzou Football to start this year! We never make it to the MU/IL game because of better things to do (Sheep Fest!) so our first game was the Home Opener. We headed down early to tailgate with the Yoders and then made a day of it. It was a day even if we did end up leaving before the time was up, the game was over and so was Cooper!

Pretty good picture of all 3 of our kiddos! I have the one of them from last year in a frame...can't believe that Cooper was just a baby at 3 months and Andi had to hold him! Time flies for sure!!

what a cutie! (I think this was about the last time he sat still!)

playing washers...the kids were pretty interested in the other tailgating games that were going on at nearby tailgates...lets hope they don't remember them!

There is a rule breaker in every group...Cooper is ours!

his favorite spot at any tailgate or party- the cooler to get ice!

a little nervous I guess...

Me and Coop cheesin'

Andi and TJ (as always) having a blast at the game.

This is the best picture I could get of all 3 of them...Cooper ready to get the heck out of the stadium so he could run and Andi and TJ lost watching the jumbotron.

Andi's in Preschool

This year for 2 mornings a week Miss Andi gets to go to Preschool. She absolutely loves it and the rest of us are getting use to it :) She already knew a lot of the kids that would be in her class either from Leonard or from her CCD class. She absolutely loves it (did I already say that?!) and TJ keeps talking about "wish I could go to preschool." Soon enough I'm afraid that will happen too!

All ready for Preschool Orientation. It was a pretty big deal (to everyone) because we dropped TJ and Cooper off with Grandma Mari and Andi and I got to go by ourselves!

First Day of Preschool
She of course had her outfit picked out at least a whole day before and had to have her alarm set so she could wake up all by herself!

Group shot with the brothers!
She picked out what they were supposed to wear too. :)

playing with puzzles before we left her for her first day...she looks real worried, huh?!

Andi on Leader Day
She was very excited to be the Leader which involves being first in line, taking snacks and taking something for show and tell. She choose Orange Hi-C and chocolate chip cookie cake and took her halter that she got at State Fair for Heartbreaker along with a photo of her showing and a ribbon that she had won.

Another group shot- ready or not!
Cooper is all about getting in the very front of the picture whether he is wanted or not. At least he has a more "natural" smile than his big brother TJ does in most pictures.
