Monroe County Pee Wee Show

On what was one of the hottest days of the year Papa Harold and Grandma Mari loaded up Betty, Strawberry, TJ and Andi and took them to the Monroe County Fair. Of course I followed closely behind with Cooper and Brody and we met Travis there. All because of a Pee Wee show? Of course! And the fact that we got to see all of our other sheep show family and friends! :)

Andi trying to persuade Strawberry to keep moving. Can you tell it was hot?

Showing like a big kid and talking to our "favorite judge Matt."

TJ leading Betty like a rock star!

"keep your eyes on the judge"

Papa Harold turn 50!!

Happy Birthday Dad aka Papa Harold, we love you!!
Mom and Dad

helping papa blow out the candles.

just what he wanted!

Papa Harold and his grandkids
(plus their moms-he ran out of room on his lap for Brody and Lane!)

The "big boys" felt left out so here is one with Dad, his daughters and all of their kids! (whoops and husbands too lol) We missed Kyle and Steph but I know they were there in spirit! :)

Lincoln County

Yeah for Troy!! Oh how we love Lincoln County Fair! We only make it one day but man do we make that one day count! We leave around 5:30 so we and the kids are up very early but its easier to get up super early and make the drive when you know what fun waits ahead of you!

The "big" Belt Kids..up bright and early for Troy and super excited! :)

ready to show

so ornery!

working hard for our money!

Andi pulling her own weight

Show Time!
(Again- not a lot of pictures because it gets pretty crazy when its time to show!)

Of course after the show it was time for a little fun! Too bad its always SuPeR HOT after the show! This year wasn't as bad as last year but it was still plenty hot.

cheese! Somehow I am always the one that gets to ride with the kiddos...

Ooohhhh a "big kid ride"

Andi cheesing on the dragon ride, one of our favorites.

Every ride is a "parade ride" for Cooper...He is always ready to ride!

Lewis County Fair

We had so much fun last year at Lewis County that we were excited to head back again this year! Of course it was super hot but everyone kept their "cool" and we had a great time! Plus almost everyone was able to make it back which made it even better!!

Mom and Dad, with the "big" grandkids, enjoying the show.

The have a great Pee Wee show which is always the first show of the year for the kids. Andi and TJ were for going to show for sure and Kale and Cooper were late entries but they did great too!!

Kale and Gina showing.

Me helping Cooper (who really wanted to show Betty instead)

Andi talking to the judge, Matt Lambert.

TJ showing "his sheep" Betty. He was dead set on showing Betty and Betty only even though she was a yearling and not a ewe lamb like we usually show. He did great!
All of our little green Pee Wee showers!

Kelly and Brody hanging out.

It's show time! I never get many pictures because its pretty much "all hands on deck" during show time but Travis did happen to snap this one of the Yearling Ewe Class...sometimes its not just how good the sheep is, sometimes its the showmen too...just sayin' :)

Fourth of July

We had a busy weekend planned and although some of us weren't feeling up to par in the beginning we did manage to have a full day of fun on both Sunday and Monday! We headed to the Mark Twain Rodeo Sunday night and the kids LOVED it, which really isnt that surprising since I have some major cowboy/cowgirl wannabe's! :)

Monday we ended up having a pool party with the Pollards and enjoying some fireworks with them, Kyle and Stephanie and mom and dad. It was a wild day and a great way to end the holiday weekend! :)

Swimming it up!
I didnt get very many swim pictures because we were all in the water having fun!

Cooper showing off his new tan lines.

Cannon Ball! The kids pretty much perfected these this summer!

Time to fill up the little pool!

Brody just hanging out.

Time for sparklers!

Wild man Coop really enjoyed the snaps.

Even the big kids still love sparklers!

Cooper turns 2!

Can you believe my little "Tooper Tarl" is becoming more ornery... um, I mean growing up?! He is now 2 (even though he tells people that he is 5!) lol

Birthday Group Photo!
Everyone was excited!! Brody is still trying to keep up... ;)

Me and my Booper

Happy Birthday Coop!

Birthday Party Day
It's all about horses of course!

licking off the decorations...one of the most important things.

He finally got his own chair!

He loved all of the attention and gifts! He was very excited. Can you tell?!

Looks like trouble to me!

Having fun with the boys...

and content to be by himself too!

Father's Day

Father's Day is all about Travis (isn't everyday?! lol) Amazingly this year we were on top of things...we kept his gift a secret and got it wrapped in time for him to open it before mass!

He was surprised...

and excited to get a new wireless rain gauge that actually would work!

Travis and his kiddo's
Thanks for being a great husband and the best dad any kid could ask for!
We love you Travy Carl :)
