All of the countdowns...

I can not believe that it is November 17th. To some that seems like the middle of November...to others like me it seems like 10 days till Thanksgiving, which means less than 2 weeks till the big MU/KU game and TJ's birthday party. Then of course there is 6 weeks to Christmas! AHhh- I feel like I am already behind before it has even started! Of course this past week did not make it any easier on me or the family. With me out of commission the entire house has taken a back burner- with laundry, toys and just stuff everywhere!

This past weekend we got to cross one "important" countdown off our list- rifle season, but now we have another countdown to add! Now only 7 1/2 months till baby belt #3 is here! Yep- you read it right! and yes we are crazy but super excited!

We were hoping to wait a little longer to surprise everyone but I got sick 2 weekends ago and it pretty much kept me in bed unable to do anything for a week! It wasnt for lack of medicine- it just wouldnt work. I felt lots better this weekend but still have a ways to go and am having trouble getting my body to function before noon and the lack of my kiddos sleeping only makes matters worse! Anyways I kind of felt like people were going to catch on if something didnt happen soon- and we were in luck because Gina and Jason came home this weekend and we pretty much got to see all of our family this weekend so we thought it was now or never. We got mostly surprised reactions including Addie (even though her and her mom had pretty much figured it out early on in the week) and Traci who had figured it out as soon as she heard that I was sick which led Jim to agree and then my dad told me that he was "wondering when we were going to tell them" According to him he knew I was preggo 2 weekends ago when I was tired on Sunday after the football game and then after he caught me trying to eat a mancotti at 10:30 so I wouldnt puke when he surprised us Friday morning!

Whether it was a surprise or not- hopefully it was happy news! We are waiting to welcome a healthy baby boy or girl on July 7th. Andi and TJ are almost exactly 1 1/2 years apart and TJ and the new baby will be about 1 1/2 years apart too. We are excited and hoping that I get lots better very quickly! It is no fun chasing a 2 year old and almost 1 year old around all day when you feel so crappy!
