Earlier this week we got a good 3 inches of snow which ended up being perfect to play in except for the fact that it was too dry and wouldn't stick to make a snowman (the one thing Andi has been talking about 24/7 besides Santa!) Lucky for us, it turned out to be even better for sled riding (thanks Grandpa G!)

almost ready...Andi was a little easier to get ready...we had to keep chasing TJ down to get his stuff on him.

All bundled up...talk about the Christmas story "kids"

TJ could not move very well and when Travis sat him on the couch to try to get his shoes on, he fell straight back onto his back and was stuck. Lucky for us he decided this was funny instead of getting mad!

getting ready for the sled...

They weren't quite sure of the sled in the beginning and of course Andi had already gotten snow on her gloves which went straight to her mouth.

Andi loved being pulled all around our yard on the sled. TJ didn't much care for it because he kept falling over backwards. After a few turns they got if figured out and everyone was a little happier.

Daddy showing Andi how to make a snow angel.

and then helping her make her own little snow angel.

Of course we HAD to make a snowman but it was nearly impossible...lucky for us Travis is a thinker! Here is our first snowman on the winter!

Before they headed out to play in the snow, Andi was telling me how she was going to make a daddy, mommy, Andi, and TJ snowman....50% isn't bad I guess- the got a daddy and an Andi snowman!

Andi had lots of fun playing outside and did not want to come in even though she was shivering and her cheeks were super red!

TJ had fun for awhile but he definitely let us and the neighbors know when he was ready to be inside. Of course once he was inside he just wanted to go back out to be with Travis and Andi!

Awesome snowman-that Travis is one smart fellow!! Thanks for putting pictures up, it looks like they had lots of fun. Maybe there will be snow when we are back in MO- wait a minute...did I seriously just say that?!? The caramel popcorn did not turn out, Jason is eating it, but it is too sticky. I will have to send Jason to the store and try again just for you..just kidding I really want some too.

It looks like they had a great time! I can't wait to get a snowsuit for Aliza so she and Joshlin can play too! Way to go on creative snowmen, Travis!
