4th of July weekend fun

We had a crazy, busy and fun July 4th weekend! It started Friday with a trip to Long Branch with Kyle and Stephanie. Once we finally got loaded up and were on our way (the whole 5 minute trip) it started to sprinkle. We stuck it out and had tons of fun!

Next we headed to Papa Harolds to deliver a late Father's Day present/ early birthday present - a new shade tree! Then we loaded up again for our first annual McEwen 4th of July bbq. It was tons of fun but I didnt get any pictures!

This is a picture of the tree waiting to be planted. It reminds me of a song...anyone know it?

Saturday we had lunch with papa Harold and gma Mari (and the rest of the gang) and then were surprised with a visit from Heath and the Eckler boys. All of the kiddos (and the bigger kids too) had fun playing in the mud.

After that we cleaned up and headed for supper and fireworks at Heartland with the rest of the Belt clan. Andi and TJ were in awe of the fireworks and had a fantastic time!

Sunday, the 5th we headed to Leonard (again) for Aliza's 3rd party. It was a good time with great cake and ice cream- of course I only got 1 good picture of the kiddos having fun with the pinata'.

Like I said- a busy but very fun weekend!!
