State Fair

As always state fair was super fun and wore everyone out! We went down as a family Thursday and got to watch Corbin show Friday morning and then the Heinecke kids and Kyle show Saturday. We had a pretty full camp site as we even had our own row this year with Grandma & Grandpa, Carylle Ann & Butch, Adrienne & Presstin, the Heineckes, Heath and the Eckler boys, Mom & Dad, The Pollards and Kyle and Stephanie.

After a busy Saturday with rain included we finished up the weekend with a busy day Sunday and Miss Andi doing leadline. She did it last year for the first time but this year she had sooo much fun walking Dusty. Right when she was getting ready to go into the ring the power went out and she had to wait. She ended up doing her turn without any electricity but you can tell from the pictures how proud we were and how much she enjoyed it!

Gina and I took all 4 of our kiddos down Tuesday morning to help get the Southdowns ready for the Open show the next day. Kyle (Eckler Acres) did fantastic and even earned the honor as Premier Exhibitor!

I think everyone had a great year at the fair but as you can tell from the last picture we were ready for it to be over too! :)

"showing" sheep is hard work! Andi worked so hard trying to get Dusty ready for leadline. Even though we didn't do it from the very beginning the last week or so before the fair she walked and worked with her every night!

It's over! Wednesday proved to be an exhausting day for everyone especially with the Belt Family (minus Travis- who was getting his plot ready) What a busy week!
