Easter Morning

Easter morning came a little early especially after we stayed up late decorating eggs and preparing our goodies to take to Middletown. However we made it up in time to see our surprises the Easter Bunny left us in our baskets, hunt eggs and make it to mass before heading to Middletown for lunch with the whole Eckler family and then back to mom and dad's for supper that night.

The closer that we got to Easter the more questions we were asked. For some reason the questions about Good Friday and Easter morning seemed lots easier to answer than the questions about the Easter Bunny! Andi and TJ had forgotten all about the Easter Bunny and the fact that he left surprises in our baskets and so naturally they had lots of questions. They were mortified at the thought of the bunny coming into our house! TJ was very worried that he would get mud on our carpet! But alas Easter morning came and they were excited and surprised to find goodies in their baskets and the questions (thankfully) stopped!

Even Lexi got some goodies! She loved her new little toy.

Cooper had no interest in looking for eggs or picking them up once he found them. He only wanted to run with Lexi.

We were later informed that the "Easter Bunny didn't really hide the eggs very hard."

Talk about motivation for next year! :)

Next up a quick breakfast and more importantly time for Mass but first a quick family picture! :)

and a kiddo one! Aren't they so cute in their little matching outfits! :)

I think my time might be quickly running out on that one!
