Okay so last night was TJ's first official cereal taste and he did really well and didn't hardly make a mess. I figured that it went so well last night that I would try it again this morning while Andi and I were eating. I am not sure what the difference between this morning and last night was (I'm sure it was Travis' expert cereal feeding technique) but it was quite a difference experience.
Maybe I was paying too much attention to Andi dripping blueberry yogurt all over her shirt and rubbing it all over her face and the table to realize that TJ wasn't doing much better with his cereal. He still acted like he wanted it but his tongue just wasn't cooperating. After every spoonful he would get his hands in it and then rub his hands all over his face, the chair and his pants. Maybe we will wait to try cereal again when there is a better kid/adult ratio :)

Oh, the wonderful ups and downs of parenting. Just when you think everything is going great, then there is a huge mess to be cleaned up. At least you didn't get a phone call then saying someone wanted to come see your house!!!!
