Happy Easter!

These past 40+ days have been all about learning at our house which means lots of questions!

Although there is a lot that a 3 and 2 year old can not understand they catch on to quite a bit and definitely hold pretty tight to those things! Some of our "Lenten sacrifices' included praying before meals, reading our calendar and adding to our rice bowl daily, asking if it was Friday or not and then making sure that they didn't eat meat (that one involved lots of questions- what is meat anyways?! lol) and of course coloring our many color pages about the important days during Lent.

Of course these "sacrifices" cant even compare to what Jesus has done for us but by making a true personal sacrifice and trying to learn more about the actual events leading up to Easter Sunday helps bring an even bigger awareness to me and my family.

This is the best one that I could get...Cooper is definitely in the "cant sit still" stage! I couldn't even get him to look at me! Oh well I guess it is pretty nice to see green grass and warm temps already!
