Indy Pictures

Finally- I have our pictures from Indy up! It started out a little rough but by the end of the week we had our schedule down pat- pool time, mall time, walks, naps, snacking and eating! We really thought that we would get to hang out with Travis a little more but did have fun on our own at the hotel and on our walks outside and in the mall and especially to our meals at the Old Spaghetti Factory and Rock Bottom!

first things first lets call Gina!

As soon as we got into the room, Andi spotted the phone and immediately called Gina...good thing she didn't really call anyone- our bill would have been huge! It was always someone Gina, Addie, Liza, Debbie, Cole ? She did have some good conversations though!

a fun new (non-breakable) toy!

The hotel gave our kiddos backpacks with reusable (sturdy) cups, kazoos, kaleidoscopes, bracelets and other goodies! Very cool to have new toys for the week- and two of everything!

I like licorice!
me too!

yumm Papa John's in the room
It got a little messy eating in the room with 2 kids- luckily we made friends with the housekeeper!

All dressed up the first night we went out for supper at the Old Spaghetti Factory...we figured if Travis was eating good...we should too!

Is this what I have to look forward to? While she was watching tv I swear she was texting on her cool new phone!

Hanging out in the room. Andi wanted me to get a picture of the 4 of them playing. This is one of the few times she let TJ get near (his own) puppy because that was her "baby" for the week.

TJ loves to blow bubbles to anyone and on anyone and thought that it was pretty neat to do it on his pack-n-play as well!

Andi trying to kiss TJ

Who wants to ride the horse? This was seriously the question that I asked and her honest answer. She was so excited! We were lucky that Travis got out of his meeting just in time to ride with us but I was not going to leave Indy without a horse ride...it totally made Andi's week!

Ebony & the Belt Family

Callie, our driver, helping Andi pet Ebony
Callie was super nice and really good with Andi. During the ride we had to stop and give Ebony a drink and Andi got to hold the rein while we were stopped. The last part of our ride we also got to sit up front with Callie and help drive....of course my camera battery went dead and I didn't get pictures of those two memorable moments!!

Andi was a little nervous when we first starting moving but then quickly got braver!

my little licorice lover #2
If you cant tell licorice played a pretty big part in our trip. It is pretty much a staple snack for us on car rides and summer trips and poor TJ's gums were swollen and all he wanted was to gnaw on something. I figured that it couldn't hurt and it couldn't be much worse than some of the baby food or snacks that he already gets- thank goodness for licorice he loved it (and made a mess but not as bad as those teething biscuits!)

peek-a-boo
TJ is starting to be quite the little entertainer!

You are a brave woman handling those kiddos in the hotel room. It is tons of work to pack, keep them on a schedule, etc. while away from home. Looks like you managed to have some fun though! They're growing too fast!

It looks like you guys ended up with some great times after all! I can't believe Travis was so busy!
