We had a blast at the state fair this past week and the camper made it even better (Thanks Michael & Traci!) We went down on Wednesday and most everyone had arrived by Thursday evening. Gina & Jason made their trip Wednesday night and got in at 2:30 Thursday morning. Even though we were busy getting sheep ready and watching the show we still made time for a little fun time. Andi had a complete blast and was pretty much worn out the day of the big show on Saturday and we couldn't even get her to wake up from her nap on Sunday when she was supposed to show June in leadline. We improvised with out own "private" leadline and photo opportunity once she did wake up! Sunday morning we did get out of the sheep barn for a couple of hours and got to see a little bit of the fair before we left.
Wednesday morning we left home at 4:50 am to head down for the Open Show- where we all got to show! The kids were wide awake and super excited but then started to crash once the show begin. Luckily the catnaps that Andi and TJ were able to take helped them through the morning. After the show Andi fell asleep and completely slept through our loud lunch at Pizza Hut...she must have been super worn out or caught some kind of bug because she got sick in her car seat on the way home. Luckily today TJ and Andi are doing better and we are on our way (hopefully) to a full "happy" recovery!
I took lots of pictures and tried to sort out some to put on the blog...they aren't in any real order but I think that we got some good ones! ENJOY!!
