Here are some of the pictures that I took last Thursday night when we got the better half of our foot of rain! Needless to say on our way to church that Sunday morning we saw lots of wet carpet laying outside of houses and all of our friends had plans to rip up their ruined carpet that Sunday afternoon!
Our entire back yard was covered with at least a couple inches of water just pouring over into our driveway.
Our driveway wasnt that only one that got washed away. This is our neighbor Charlotte's driveway in our yard. (What a good neighbor it was cleaned up the very next day- both times!)
During the storm our entire driveway and ditch were completely full of water and it was running over the road and into the park. You can tell that it washed it pretty good even on the flatter part of the driveway.
The Grand Canyon?!
That next day we were so excited that it had stopped raining for awhile we went and played in the creek running through our driveway. Andi had quite the time!

This is what we got up early Sunday morning before Church to fix, only to have it carved out and look exactly the same on Monday morning. Travis got up early Monday to try to fix it before we left at 8 but luckily Gene (our neighbor) came over and offered to fix it with his lawnmower and blade. (We should have thought of him the first time!)

I have a trench where I park my car and my parking spots are as flat as a pancake. Amy
This rain has been too much this year! I hope you guys are getting things put back together.
Oh my! I can't believe how much rain you have gotten! Over here north of St. Joseph we need a little bit of rain, isn't that crazy?
