Sheep Fest

I am finally getting my sheep fest pictures up (my camera battery died on me and all of my chargers I had forgotten at mom and dad's house)
We headed up to mom and dad's Wednesday afternoon and then headed to Granville to pick up some hay! We had a good experience (surprisingly!) I got to drive with my big helper Andi and TJ (thankfully) slept in his car seat for most of the time. We got home around 9 that night and then didn't wind down until after 11 and then my kiddos were up again before 6 am! I was a little concerned that we would get kicked out before our 5 day stay would be up!
Luckily they let us stay even though we continued to stay up late and get up even earlier! We had fun the rest of the week and got to hang out all day Friday with Aunt Gina who got in early because of meetings. Saturday kicked off the beginning of Sheep Fest and the 3 days were a whirlwind of showing sheep and hanging out with friends and family...and watching MU beat IL!!
Travis missed a lot of fun but had a great time in WY and even got to bring home a goat...we haven't seen it in person yet but have seen plenty of pictures and will definitely share some pictures with you later!

Bubba & Andi - their last pictures together :(
Grandpa Tom & Andi
They had lots of fun together and she definitely was missing him Monday afternoon!

All dressed up for leadline (and awake this time!)
Andi & Little Miss Sunshine or Sunny- June's stand in since it is the start of breeding season!
Walking by themselves...

luckily there were 3 mums stationed around the ring...these are the 3 things that helped Sunny know where to go!

I was trying to hold Sunny for our picture when Andi said "mom, I do it" I guess she didn't think I was doing it good enough!
TJ ready for the Tigers to play

Andi & Uncle Butch enjoying the game and the beverage of their choice! again..Andi was sad when Uncle Butch had to go home.

um...twins?! too scary!

Saturday after leadline Andi watched Mutton Busting and kept talking about how the kids were riding the sheep. When we asked if she wanted to do that, she said yes but we didn't believe her until that night and the next morning she told everyone that she was going to ride a sheep...and she did!
ready to go in all her safety gear
holding on....ready...set....

go!!!

Andi showing off her gold dollar that she got for riding.

She was definitely wide eyed when she was done but shook her head yes when we asked her if it was fun. Then after she high-fived everyone she had to call uncle Kyle and daddy!

How fun! I am so proud of Andi for showing in the leadline! Our mum is surviving just fine, by the way.
