MU Homecoming

After a few "off weeks" the Tigers got to play their Homecoming game on a gorgeous Saturday. The parade started bright and early at 8:30 and the game later that day at 5:30.

It was an exciting day for us for several reasons. My entire family was headed to the parade and game including our "Canadians" Jason and Gina! The reason that everyone was attending and super excited was because of Kyle. He was one of 28 students chosen out of the entire University to serve as a member of the Homecoming Steering Committee. They were in charge of Homecoming week and all of its festivities. Kyle along with 2 others made up the merchandising committee which came up with the design/logo for all of the Homecoming merchandise. Very neat shirts too- I might say!

Andi & TJ -in great moods at 6 am and ready to go to the football game!

Kyle and part of his homecoming committee. Of course I didn't ever get a great picture of him in the parade or when they got recognized on the field at half time!

Andi was so excited for the parade to start (and so cold!)

We were due for a new group shot. I think the last one we had at a football game was when Kyle was in junior high!

As soon as Travis took the picture, And came running over and stood by me and smiled. No one even knew she was there until I looked down. I guess she isn't use to not being in the pictures. lol

TJ couldn't make it to the end

"roughing it" at our tailgate!

Mom and dad stayed the weekend in Columbia as they got to attend several Homecoming functions. Lucky for us they invited us to hang out in their room between the parade and the game.

Our one family photo of the day

playing one last time before the game started

our favorite time of the games...when Truman does push ups!

When our friend Lacey at the US Cellular booth asked if Andi wanted a picture with Truman, we didn't have a chance to ask her because she had already ran over and grabbed his hand!
After the picture she had to run back over and tell him bye.
She is cracking us up all the time. We are in total awe of her and her "die hard" fan attitude. She is always pretending to be at the football game when she is playing at home.
Many times we find her telling TJ how to cheer or instructing us how and who to cheer for. Today Macklin and the defense were at our house playing with her and her baby dolls!
Never a dull moment - that's for sure :)
