Mortar Board

Friday afternoon we were invited to MU's campus to see Uncle Kyle receive an induction into Mortar Board, an honorary secret society of the University.

There were 6 different socities in all with more than 60 students being unveiled. As they proceeded to the front of the columns they all wore hoods and then were unveiled as they were inducted.

That is the version that most people will know/understand however Andi has a slightly different version that I thought you would like...."all these people came out and Kyle had a blanket on his head, and then someone unwrapped him and he got his board (award) and then we had lemonade and cookies!"

Either version sums up the exciting afternoon on campus. Way to go, friar Kyle!!!
