Christmas Day

Christmas morning came early, well for some of us anyways! I was worse than the kids and could not sleep at all! Then I woke up bright and early before 6 am and decided to just get up so I wouldn't miss anything.

We were on somewhat of an early schedule so that we could open our presents, make it to Middletown to see Grandpa Tainter and then Grandpa Tom and Grandma Barb AND make it back to Leonard for supper with the Belts.

I never would have imagined that might kids would sleep in but I finally had to wake them up so that we could make it to all of our Christmas'.

Christmas morning 2010
(not sure TJ was awake yet...we missed his smile with his eyes closed!)
The boys busy opening their presents.
Andi loving her new tinkerbell movie!

Christmas was SO much fun this year being able to watch the sheer excitement and joy as the kids opened presents and expressed their thankfulness! :)

Travis excited for some new Mizzou pajama pants.

We didnt get a lot of pictures Christmas morning but thats because we were busy opening and watching the kids tear into their presents! Thankfully we did get it on tape so that we can watch it again! :)

Next we traveled to Middletown to see more Great-Grandparents.
First we stopped by to see Grandpa Tainter where the kids were excited to share Grandpa's popcorn tin with him (that we got him!) and to play with their new toys (2 noisy trucks and a barbie- perfect!)
Then we headed to Grandpa Tom and Grandma Barb's house. It was a full house as always...with lots of people to see and things to do!

Of course, like everywhere we went over Christmas Break, our kids were spoiled with attention and gifts! They had an absolute blast and so did we!

Andi excited about her Glitter Sheep.
TJ loves his new cowboy hat "just like Papa Tom's."
Coop's theme of the day seemed to be diving into Christmas paper and helping pick up the trash.

After Middletown we headed back Leonard...
where Andi was excited to get her puppy

and TJ was excited to get his Mizzou football stuff. Now he looks exactly like TJ Moe!

Here's Cooper helping pick up wrapping paper off the floor. :)

Another big hit with Andi was her "Repunzel game" for her leapster.

I loved the kids' Christmas jammies this year and I think it is great you had to wake the kids up! That is a good picture of your kiddos with Grandpa Tainter :)
