Lewis County Fair

After a long week of getting sheep ready and VBS at night we were finally ready for our 1st fair of 2010-Lewis County! We all got up bright and early to help load the sheep at Papa Harold's house and then to travel to Lewistown for the fair. The sheep had to be there by 8:30 and we were even a little early. :) We had plenty of downtime before we got to show which ended up being after noon. The kids enjoyed hanging out before the show....

TJ checking out the sheep.

Kale smiling at his favorite Aunt Jessi!

We were lucky that Cooper decided to take a nap- too bad it was a short one!
After lunch we were ready to start the show. First up (for our group) was the Pee Wee show. You could definitely tell it was the first show of the year because it was a little unorganized but I guess when its 4 and 2 year olds doing it, its bound to be a little unconventional!

Awfully proud of themselves - showing me their ribbons. Notice Andi was a little more excited than TJ! lol
After the PeeWee show it was full force showing. Gina and I and the boys did most of the showing and dad even helped some! Mom was full time photographer and babysitter so we didn't get a ton of pictures. I think the boys kept her pretty busy but I think that they enjoyed it- especially their special snack late in the afternoon!

Gina and Northern Star Yearling.
The one picture we did get was of our big winner (and Gina). :)
